Collet Nuts ER
ER collet nuts are used to hold (clamp) an ER collet in the chuck of CNC machining centers and CNC Routers. The purpose of using a clamp nut is to secure and hold the cutter firmly by holding and clamping the collet itself. This type of clamp is simple, reliable in its design and inexpensive. A high quality collet nut has the following functions:
- Uniform fixation of the working tool, preventing deviation from the working axis.
- Minimize vibration and runout.
- Retention of the working tool and the rigidity of its fastening.
