Edge banding cutters are cutting tools designed for finishing parts in the furniture industry. In large factories, the facing of the ends of blanks from plate materials is carried out by machines of the through-type. The cutters are installed on such devices in the units for trimming the end and longitudinal overhangs of the edges.

Replaceable carbide blades for milling cutters

In order to optimize logistics costs, cutting tools are manufactured with interchangeable blades. When the blades wear out, they can be easily replaced. Carbide blades for milling cutters are small in size, so the consumption of expensive tool steel is reduced, and transportation costs are reduced.

It is much more convenient and more profitable to buy removable knives than to buy a complete cutter for an edge banding machine. Due to their small size, these products are more convenient to transport, sharpen and store.

Scrapers for edging machines

After milling, the workpiece enters the scraping unit, where the edges are finished. Specially shaped knives are used for this operation. The edgebander scraper is a carbide blade with a sharpening of almost 90 degrees. This type of knife does not cut, but literally scrapes off the material. Such a processing method allows achieving a high surface finish, avoiding the so-called kinematic wave, which remains after milling.
