Of course, Virutex is also lighter compared to analogues, but thanks to this, it is convenient to remove the edge quickly, given its size and weight. If the hands grow from the right place, there will be no problems.

There was such a Virutex, they charged around 110 euros and all of them had the problem that the metal was pressed (rubbed) (3 pieces, all of them had the same problem), in the places where the edge of the handle came into contact with the metal plate, this one had already worked for 2 months and pah-pah no hints of deformation. Either the Europeans began to save on metal or China has already reached a new level.

I took it purely for edge processing, but in the end I used it for other purposes, changed the cutter and used it for cutting grooves and milling along a contour - chamfering, rolling.

I took it at an exhibition in Kyiv, they made a discount, it is a good assembly, the cutter is included, it fits well in the hand, it is somewhat similar to Virutex, but the platform is plastic.

An absolutely normal edging router. Of course it is worse than Virutex, but it does its job well. I was pleased that the price was for a set and not all the accessories separately. 1/4 inch shank, Virutex cutters are not suitable.

Edgebanding is an integral part of any furniture production. The edging tape is made, as a rule, at least 4 mm wider than the thickness of the laminated chipboard - this is done so that after gluing the part, the edge overhangs are at least 2 mm, in order to eliminate defects and make it possible to fully process the overhangs using a hand tool for processing edges overhangs or an automatic edge banding machine.

To work with round and oval workpieces, another tool is required - a manual edge banding trimmer for round workpieces. This device allows you to cut the edge tape exactly to size so that it can be glued end-to-end. No additional trimming is required.

This tool is designed to remove edge overhangs in the longitudinal direction. Manual edge banding trimmers are capable of removing excess edge materials up to 0.5 mm thick. The design consists of two parts, the distance between which can be changed by pressing your hand. Having grasped the workpiece, the master cuts off the overhangs on both sides in one movement.

This electric tool is used to remove the longitudinal overhangs of the edge. Simply irreplaceable when processing edge material with a thickness of 0.8 mm or more.
