This is a new algorithm of these machines, when a through hole is made with two drills - from below and from above, in order to eliminate the defect, as well as to save on drills, because blind ones are cheaper and have a greater resource. Therefore, this is only an advantage, such drilling. Homag flaunted such a drilling algorithm a few years ago. Also, fewer spindles are used by the tool, for example, a blind five will make you both through and blind, and before you had to put separate 5 blind and through - that's 2 spindles instead of one.

Excellent machine. Works with Gilab. We drill about 1000 workpieces per shift. Drills very quickly. We got used to making a curved ruler on it, the milling spindle allows us to cut corners. Drills very quickly, 2 times faster than Chiflex. We immediately set up a barcode scanner. A very convenient thing. The machine itself is very massive and heavy, thick metal on the bed. All nodes are very powerful. In the picture before purchase it looked less monumental.

It was brought to us with a bunch of grilles (protective fence) in your photo it is installed on the right side of the operator. We were told to fence it on three sides.
