Our Stancomplect company provides professional sharpening service for saw blades used for cutting wood and metal. This operation is performed on the modern automated machine ABM CNC-650, which is capable of sharpening saw blades with TCT inserts of up to 650 mm in diameter.
During operation, the TCT inserts of saw blades gradually lose their sharpness and correct geometry. To restore their cutting properties, a minimal layer of material must be removed, precisely recreating the original shape of each tooth.
Before sharpening, each saw blade undergoes preliminary cleaning on the ABM ULTRA 600 ultrasonic station. Specialized cleaning agents, combined with the cleaning action of ultrasound, effectively remove resin residues, dust, sawdust, and other contaminants that affect the sharpening process and can reduce the service life of the saw blade.
Our machinery makes the sharpening process fully automated. The operator only needs to place the saw blade into the machine and set its parameters. All subsequent processes are carried out automatically.
To ensure high sharpening quality and prevent overheating of the teeth in the processing area, specialized cooling lubricant is used.
A key feature of the machine is the presence of additional working axes, which allow sharpening both sides of the tooth simultaneously. This ensures even load distribution and reduces the material removal depth on each edge to just 0.1 mm. As a result, the lifespan of the main saw blade increases to 17–18 full sharpening cycles, compared to only 9–10 cycles on standard machines. These additional axes also enable processing of complex tooth shapes, including trapezoidal one.
