KDT Machinery's intelligent manufacturing base for CNC machine tools will be located in Shunde, Guangdong Province. Construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2021 and is expected to be completed and operational in 2023 .
The project covers an area of about 80 hectares, and the building area itself is about 160,000 sq.m² . It is planned to become one of the largest intelligent manufacturing bases for furniture hardware in the world.

KDT has taken advantage of the development opportunities in the construction of the Greater Bay Area (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau) and completed investment and construction projects focused on high-tech automation equipment and precision parts processing to provide good support for subsequent industrial expansion.
Once the project is completed and put into production, it will reach an annual production capacity of 10,000 CNC machines (beam saws and machining centers). The increase in production capacity will lead to an increase in market share and will satisfy the needs of the business, and this in turn will accelerate the scale of the company's growth. In addition, the project will introduce cutting-edge technologies in the furniture industry, accelerate product automation, intelligent and digital upgrading of the company.

The Greater Bay Area (GBA) is a zone of accelerated economic and innovative development in southern China. It includes Hong Kong, Macau and nine cities in Guangdong. At the moment, the region is the locomotive of the Chinese economy and provides more than 12% of China's GDP .
By 2035, the Chinese authorities are going to turn the region into a highly developed center of technology, innovation and economic activity, which will compete with the US Silicon Valley and the Tokyo Bay region . It is planned that by 2035 the region's GDP will more than double ( from $1.48 trillion to $4.1 trillion ) and exceed that of the UK.
