The multifunctional glue station KDT 88S is necessary for servicing and cleaning, preheating and vacuum storage of adhesive units. Used in conjunction with KDT edge banding machines. The glue pot is not included in the equipment set!
It is a mobile system on wheels and includes:
- control panel;
- sealed storage chamber for adhesive units KDT 88S;
- special motorized mount for glue units, similar to that installed on the KDT machine;
- cabinet with vacuum pump, glue roller drive and electrical components.
Glue station functions:
- Heating function. Useful if you have multiple glue pots and are working with different colors and types of glue. The station maintains the operating temperature of the glue and the operating speed of the glue tank. This allows you to quickly change the type or color of the adhesive without the need to reheat the adhesive, which has a positive impact on the quality of the adhesive seam due to the reduced effect of heating and cooling on the adhesive.
- Cleaning the glue. Used to clean glue tanks from glue using special cleaners and glue neutralizers. Using a special pressure plate, the shaft is cleaned of glue residues efficiently and effectively.
- Vacuum storage. Using a vacuum in the storage chamber extends the life cycle of PUR adhesive and prevents problems with machine parts.
- Prevention of polymerization: for storing adhesive aggregates filled with PUR glue during long breaks in work.
- No need for nitrogen: storage takes place in a vacuum.
- No wasted time: stored application units can be preheated and used in edge banding machines after a short stop.
- Easy cleaning: Thanks to the glue application roller drive, the application unit can be cleaned and emptied outside the edge banding machine.
- Easy installation: only compressed air and electricity connections are required.
The system is controlled using the control panel located on the front.
Functionality of the control panel:
- Turn on/off the system.
- Emergency stop button.
- Temperature controller (℃).
- Indicator displaying real-time temperature during heating (℃).
- Switch for the drive of the glue roller of the glue unit with the ability to switch the direction of its rotation.
- Switch position “left” - used for the glue unit of machines with option F.
- Turn on the vacuum pump.
- Indicator displaying the vacuum value in the storage chamber (kPa).
The mount is conveniently located on the top of the station for maintenance (cleaning) and preheating of the glue unit.
Nearby there is an electrical connector identical to the one installed in the KTD machine. This supplies power to the glue unit to preheat it or turn on the glue roller drive in cleaning mode.
Cleaning is carried out upon reaching the set temperature in the glue pot necessary for melting the cleaner and glue, by turning on the PU drive of the glue application roller. The roller is driven by a motor installed inside the station.
The glue is collected in a pre-installed container until the glue unit is completely empty.
A vacuum is created in the chamber using a vacuum pump built into the station. When it reaches the set value, the vacuum pump will stop. If the air pressure inside the chamber begins to rise, the vacuum pump will start working until the air pressure inside reaches the required value again. During the entire process, the air pressure inside the chamber remains within acceptable limits.
Note: When storing the glue pot, the power must be turned on and the vacuum switch must be secured to “VACUUM”.

Delivery
The goods are delivered by the Packeta, Fedex, DHL, UPS operator or by self-delivery. Delivery by another postal company is also possible upon prior agreement with the manager.
The term of order fulfillment and delivery is from 3 to 14 days.
The delivery amount is calculated individually by the postal operator depending on the product you have chosen, the form of payment and the remoteness of your settlement.

Payment can be made online on the website through a special service, by contacting our manager by phone, making a payment to card, paying upon receipt at pick-up , paying upon receipt at the post office, making a non-cash payment for legal entities.
