The automated drilling station, consisting of two high-performance KDT KD-812 drilling centers, ensures maximum processing efficiency. Each center features two independent working zones, providing a total of four autonomous zones per production line. This configuration enables smooth operation and minimizes equipment downtime.
Operation of the automated station:
- Initial positioning: A workpiece with a unique label is placed on the infeed conveyor
- Information reading: A scanner reads data from the label, identifying drilling parameters
- Automatic adjustment: The system selects one of the four worktables and optimizes drilling modes based on the received data
- Drilling process: The workpiece enters the selected working zone, where drilling is carried out according to the defined parameters
- Post-drilling movement: The finished item is transported via the outfeed conveyor to the final buffer
- Final stage: The operator performs quality control and moves the processed workpiece to the storage area.

Key advantages of the system:
- Maximum productivity through the independent operation of four zones
- Process automation – reduced human error and minimized setup time
- Flexibility – ability to handle parts of varying complexity and sizes
- Precision – software control ensures high quality and repeatability.
This approach provides production process stability, reduces manual labor costs, and enhances the quality of the final product.
